Our Co-Medical Director, Dr. Gerald Ginsberg, oversees our Tribeca and SkinLab Upper East Side practices and is a highly esteemed plastic and reconstructive surgeon. In private practice since 1983 in New York City, he has served as the Director of Plastic Surgery at New York Downtown Hospital, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Georgina Ferzli, MD, MS, FAAD is a leading, board-certified dermatologist in New York. In addition to private practice, she serves as Clinical Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College at Cornell University and Columbia University NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Ferzli specializes in both cosmetic and general dermatology. Dr. Ferzli graduated from Georgetown University, where she also received her Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics. She completed her medical and dermatology training at the State University of New York at Downstate, where she graduated with honors and was selected to serve as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Ferzli then completed more refined training with a prestigious fellowship in Lasers and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York, under the tutelage of Dr. Roy Geronemus and team.

Dr. Ferzli is sought after for her skill using advanced lasers and technologies, her customized approach to body contouring, and her aesthetic ability with Botox and dermal fillers. Dr. Ferzli has received numerous awards, including being the first recipient of the State of New York Award for Excellence in Patient Care and Compassion, which was created in recognition of her unique dedication to her patients.

Danielle is Medical Aesthetician and skincare expert. Having worked with industry pioneers her background lies in top of the line medical aesthetics, where she garnered her love of providing services that make her clients feel and look their best. As she simultaneously pursues a career in Nursing, she brings her comprehensive knowledge of health and well being of the skin to SkinLab by Tribeca Med Spa. With medical aesthetic treatments being her area of expertise, Danielle loves to attend the annual Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress. Her ongoing passion for skin care ensures that she stays informed with the latest and greatest techniques and technologies.

Asha is a Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from the University of Miami with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She then received her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at SUNY Downstate. She spent time working as a registered nurse in the Mother/Baby unit at Lenox Hill hospital before making her transition to Dermatology. She worked as a registered nurse for 4 years in a dermatology office where she assisted in various cosmetic and medical procedures such as Botox, fillers, various laser treatments, skin cancer surgeries, and general dermatology. Her experience in this dermatology office gave her extensive knowledge on cosmetic treatments, grew her aesthetic eye and elevated her passion for aesthetic medicine. After getting her Nurse Practitioner, she started working in the Medspa space where she strengthened her skills and now has almost 2 years experience performing injectables and various microneedling and laser treatments. She is excited to develop relationships with her clients and to help promote their natural beauty, boost their confidence, and to help them look and feel their best.

She has an ongoing passion for beauty and skincare which will reflect in her services provided.

After obtaining her Bachelors in Biomedical Informatics, Annie went to the Aveda Institute in New York to continue her education in aesthetics. Annie’s goal was to combine her scientific knowledge with her passion for skincare, so becoming a master medical aesthetician was the perfect path for her. It’s an essential part of her practice to create customized treatment plans for every skin type and tone so that any patient can achieve their aesthetic goals. She also has a very personable approach to her treatments so that her patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their procedures. Annie is dedicated to continuing her education in aesthetics and consistently does her own research on the newest technologies and skincare products.

Shawmeeka Ruffin has over 12 years of nursing experience entering the field at the age of 18. After working at Stonybrook Medicine in Long Island, NY in critical care for many years, she graduated from Molloy University with her Master’s of Nursing in Family Health. This is where she pursued her career in aesthetic medicine. Initially she started in plastic surgery and then transitioned to an Aesthetic injector. Shawmeeka combines passion for nursing and an artistic vision to her as an aesthetic nurse practitioner. Her future goals are to focus on biostimulation and exosome treatments.

As someone who battled with acne, she’s gained knowledge in skin care and aesthetic treatments to help with discoloration and evening skin texture. Samantha is a licensed medical esthetician who attended the New York School of Esthetics. With a passion for medical grade skincare and esthetic treatments, she went to be further certified in Ultherapy, microneedling, dermaplaning, various chemical peels and laser treatments. She is always putting her client’s goals and needs first & foremost inside the treatment room and in curating at-home routines. Her goal is to maximize the benefits of each treatment, tailoring it to the personal needs of each clients skin and maintain results.
